PARVIS EN FETE
To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Abbey at St Savin being designated a world heritage site.
In addition to the Abbey being open free of charge to the public for the day there was an exhibition by an invited selection of artisan craftsmen/women. To add to the festivities a travelling circus - mime, trapeze and dance, performed throughout the day and many dignitaries from the area were in attendance particularly at lunch time!

OPEN STUDIOS AT CHENEVAUX
CERAMICS AND PAINTINGS
Under the banner of the Journées Européennes des Métiers d'Art organised nationally throughout France.
Opening times 10am - 6pm for all three days.
Demonstrations using coloured lighting effects to change the appearance of paintings.
Demonstrations of hand thrown ceramics on the potters wheel.
Work for sale.
No entry charge.
